BackBoeing Steam Utility Upgrade
Multi Phase project that consisted of 3 years to complete. New construction steam line was installed underground to serve as an upgrade to the existing steam system. New lighting, ventilation system, controls, and dewatering. Worked with engineering on 40, 60, 100% design to final IFC for construction.
Power outages were required in multiple building to supply primary needs to tunnel. This required no disruption in client production of services. Temporary lighting / power and was installed thru the building interior for continuation of steam system upgrade. Multiple of other projects were completed during the contract form trailer relocation, PIV valve commissioning and wiring, relocating and removing electrical for project continuation.
Alcoa – Repair Interior & Exterior Lighting
Repair, trouble shoot and replace existing lighting in potline buildings. Numerous corrections of failing electrical components due to building life. Safety was amongst top priority since some potline remained active with 50,000V potential.
Alcoa – Substation B Ground Grid Upgrade
Replace Primary Grid using 5/8” steel cable and installation of ground wells, anodes, ground rods and ground mats. Taps were exothermic welded to make final connections. Bayview managed a subcontractor for the excavation work which entailed the use of a vacuum truck to remove and replace the substation rock and create trenches due to the high voltage potential in substation area. Final testing was completed using a meggar GTS-300
